Our annual end-of-year overnighter challenge is back for a fifth year! Good Night 2024 invites everyone to embrace the festive season and enjoy a peaceful night under the stars between December 21st and 31st.

On December 28th, 2024, a small group of hardy bikepackers converged for an overnight adventure in the North Okanagan, with riders pedaling south from Vernon and north from Kelowna along the Okanagan Rail Trail to meet at a camp spot between the two. Despite being December, the weather cooperated with unusually mild temperatures, though nighttime brought its typical chill. The group was a mix of experienced bikepackers and newcomers. Gathered around a cozy fire, the evening naturally flowed from tales of 2024's adventures into enthusiastic planning for 2025, with discussions ranging from ambitious goals like the BC Epic 1000 to creative route planning for a multi-day loop around Adams Lake.
